It's a tat for Mom. I got a heart on my right shoulder with 'Mom' across the banner. Got it in Atlanta at Liberty Tattoo, a couple of weeks before mother's day.

I love that line. You've just hit on what I've been whining about for so long. Coding has always been filtered under a bullshit white-collar guise. It's a blue-collar job, but gets treated with a white-collar respect. I would much rather be wrenching on an engine than tweaking code written in the late 70's. What's the difference except for pay and respect?

It's the 'Breakfast Club' effect. Brian Johnson (Anthany Michael Hall) could do engineering and John Bender (Judd Nelson) could build a lamp that worked.
